Easter in Portugal

...The fotos show, on the Island of Porto Santo, ( Arquipelago of Madeira in the Atlantic Ocean ), the Main Church of the Island ( Church OurLady of Piedade) nearby the house where Christopher Columbus lived (now a museum)...
Christopher Columbus arrived in Madeira Island in 1478. He met and married, Filipa Moniz, daughter of the governor of Porto Santo Island, they had a son in 1479, but after the birth of the son, Filipa died and Colombus left the islands in 1480.
